Who is Digitalady?

Amanda Mazzanti, Digital Lady, digitallady, digitalady Amanda Mazzanti (Digitalady) is first and foremost a dreamer. Amanda has a tireless passion for sociology and new media application. She began learning computers at the age of 8 in 1989 on the original consumer MACintosh. She continued to study techonlogy and electronic art in college. She has received a B.A. in Multimedia Communications and a post-graduate certificate from Berkeley Digital Film Institute (BDFI) in Directing/Producing. Amanda has worked as a freelance multimedia artist since 2002. In November of 2007 Mazzanti founded Digitalady llc, and went to the Central American Rainforests to begin producing Seeds of Inspiration. In February 2009, footage from the social justice documentary was featured on Larry King Live and CNN International. Today Amanda lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and is actively producing new media.

Amanda is a member of: International Documentary Association (IDA), Media Rights Organization, Powerful Women International, eWomens Network, and Bay Area Women in Film and Television (BAWIFT).

Project Nairobi Project Nairobi: Education, Empowerment, Sustainability
Project Nairobi is umbrella name of a 2-3 year program working with teachers and students of the Wholistic & Counseling Centre in Nairobi, Kenya which incorporates education, health, activism, and stainability. "With the expertise of our in house Documentary Film Maker, the Project Nairobi Team hopes to create a series of short videos to be used as marketing materials for future fundraising and promotional efforts." - Parth Salva, Project Nairobi

Digitalady, Digital Lady Documentary on CNN Maya Nuts Documentary: Returning 2 years later!
The Production team is in the process of raising funds to return to Guatemala and Nicaragua for 14 days in the next year to document the passing of knowledge to the next generation. Special hugs to Charlotte Cushman and Gina Mooers!
